Visitors are welcome at Glyn Cywarch in a variety of different ways.

We are open on the following days for Public Access:

September 2025: 5-16 inclusive

May 2026: 1-9, 11-16, 18-27 inclusive

Admission: Adults £5, Children free, Veterans (HM Forces Veteran Card) free.

Opening times: 11:00-16:00

Accessibility: We will always do our best to accommodate all visitors, however, please note that because of the house and garden's historic features, there are many level changes and uneven ground.

We ask overnight visitors to use the left of the double gateway, signed Glyn Cottage.

We ask day visitors to sign in at the Estate Office, located through the gateway adjacent to the green Dutch Barn.

Rail

The closest railway station is Tygwyn (TYG), 0.8 miles away. However, this is a request stop only, and services are infrequent.

If travelling by rail from a major city, we also suggest exploring options to Bangor (Gwynedd) (BNG) – 34 miles from Glyn Cywarch and then booking private hire transport for the final portion of your journey.
